UXBRIDGE RAF MUSEUM

The Battle of Britain Ops. Room at RAF Uxbridge has now been fully restored as a private museum. Being an operational base, visits have to be arranged well in advance and there is a long waiting list. The Ops. HILLINGDON SWIMMING VENUE

The Mayor of London Boris Johnson today unveiled a new 50m swimming pool in Hillingdon - only the second Olympic sized pool to be built in London in nearly 50 years. It is part of a brand new £31m sports and leisure centre that officially opened it doors to the public today (March 23 2010)
