Oakdene Guesthouse

Oakdene Guest House or Uxbridge Guest House as it is also known is situated in Cowley, a quiet suburb and outside of London and close to Heathrow Airport. We are in a quite street and there is plenty of parking on the street immediately outside and a few parking places in the front yard as well.

We cater for tourists as well as contractors who are working in and around London. We are within walking distance of the Uxbridge Tube Station and only 2.5 kms (1.6 miles) from the nearest Railway Station. There are several bus stops offering frequent service about 5 minutes at a slow walk. In inclement weather, we will be happy to call a taxi for you. Over the years we have had many contractors who were working in Central London, stay with us for up to a year and we do our best to make them feel at home here, and they keep coming back whenever they are in the area.

We serve English Breakfast or Continental Breakfast and we try to cater for diverse dietary needs. All rooms are fitted out with a small refrigerator and a microwave oven, so you can either eat in or you can visit any of the of the local pubs or restaurants who offer a huge variety of well cooked foods. There is a fish and chip shop and a small grocery store only a couple of minutes down the road.

We have a variety of rooms both single and family and rooms are serviced every day. Only one room has an en suite bathroom, but there is a communal bathroom and two toilets. There is Wireless Internet Access in all rooms.

Even more important we are only 1.7 kms from the newly opened Hillingdon Olympic Sized Swimming Venue as well as withing walking distance of Brunel University. There are good parks, exceptional restaurants, Pubs and fast food close by along with many interesting places to visit and a good golf course.
